air conditioning fins damaged

my split a/c is just over yr old...recently i saw the fins of lower right corner of outdoor unit damaged.... the ac service person doesnt have a clue of what exactly caused this.....the a/c is working ok but im worried of the damage it might cause....i am attaching a pic of the same (sorry, pic is not of great quality since the outdoor unit is at a height nd i had a tough time taking it).

i hope somebody could be provide with a solution to this....
