Faux white finish for glass desk top

Hi, I have a large glass desk, but I would like to have a smooth white surface instead. I'm tired of the see-through glass...

So I'm wondering how I can cover the surface of the glass to give it a solid white, smooth, finish? Is this possible? What's the best/cheapest way to do this?
