Low tie in metal roof

I am wanting to put a roof over a 12x12 wood deck that sits aprox. 8" above the ground. The house fascia is 9' above the top of the deck (I will tie the roof to this) so I want to put up a metal roof with either steel or aluminum angel or T beams to support this metal roof. What size T or angel is required to span 12'? This will have a very low pitch, probably 1 foot over a 12 foot span and will not need to support anything other than rain run off. (Charleston SC)
