I replaced ten 50W 120V GU10 halogen lamps in can lights in a bathroom. They aren't as bright as I expected, and not as bright as the halogens I replaced.
I used 15W 120V GU10 LED lamps. These: http://ift.tt/1e1miGT
I see lots of LED replacement lamps advertised as 50W equivalent, using 8 or 9 watts, like these here: http://ift.tt/1cSOUaE
Did I just get cheap ones that aren't as bright as they should be?
Second problem is that I ordered five 5-packs. The first 5-pack seemed like the white light that I wanted. The next two 5-packs had a yellowish color to them, quite noticeable. By that time, I'd already determined I wasn't happy.
I'm not experienced yet in doing these GU10 LED replacements. Are there some known issues? Did I just buy garbage?
Any comments appreciated; thanks!
