Capacitor headache

Hello! This is my first time posting!

I am looking to add a capacitor to a simple circuit. My circuit consists of many parallel branches out of 4 AA batteries for a 6.5V total (batteries fresh). one branch has a bulb with no specs, but it runs bright on 6v.

i looked in too much to find the value of the capacitor i need without any luck.

so what do i need? The bulb to fade away in 2 seconds after turning current off...

i believe i also need a diode, which shall i use?!
