The Morningstar 300 Inverter and many others have an internal bond of its neutral out/white
and ground. If you look at the unit documentation online you can see that.
If you want to run this inverters output to a service panel,offgrid, you want to make sure to disconnect the neutral/ground bond in the panel because you only want one bond.
But what if you run the ground on the Morningstar to a separate ground rod not connected to the panel ground rod. I happen to have 2 different rods about 40 ft apart.
are you ok then just leaving the panel bond tied as normal..???
