Several months ago, my husband replaced our outdoor flood light fixture with a new one. It was a fixture that was motion sensored, but we wanted a light that we could leave on all night.
After he replaced the fixture we started blowing light bulbs. I bet we have spent $50 on bulbs since he replaced the fixture.
When he was taking the fixture down today, he realized that he had not connected the ground wire when he installed the fixture. Could that have caused all of those bulbs to blow?
If that's not a possible cause, do you have any thoughts on this?
Thank you in advance!
Will this cause blown bulbs?
