We live in a 2 bedroom, 1400 sq ft condo with a 12x12 ft loft area which we plan to convert to a bedroom. A friend of mine does framing and drywall for a living and is willing to donate his time for this project. He can also get many of the materials for little or no cost. He estimates my cost will be in the $200-300 range. There is no question we are going to do this, but I was curious, about how much value can we expect this to add to our home? We are hoping to sell the home in the next year or two and it would be nice to know what to expect. Thanks!
