crazy Qi mat.

i have this fantastic idea.

i have a moto360 and a nexus 5.
both of which are inductive, by design.
i hate the bull**** chargers that both come with, and i feel aftermarket Qi chargers are cheaply made.
so
i was thinking.
what about a big, desk size mat, that will charge ANYTHING that is qi, anywhere on the table?
literally just toss/slide/set your phone/watch/iphone/ipod on the desk and itll charge/..

i think it can be done, i just need some advice.

i was thinking a bunch of coils, arranged in a kinda tight grid pattern, under plexiglass, or some kind of thin plastic. like a gaming mousepad material. diy induction coils can be bought, i just neet to splice off the controller, and prolly design/solder my own controller for the20+ coils i would need to cover my desk densly enough to make the concept work.

im just kinda stuck on how i could possibly wire all the coils together, to one controller that puts out a constant voltage.

tl;dr, help me wire a bunch of Qi chargers together. how do.
