2006 nissan pathfinder

my a/c only works on low? found a web page that suggested changing the blower motor resistor, did that and still it only works on low. it does come on intermittently while I'm driving. The ac light will flicker and stay on sometimes it will stay on for the entire time other times not. has any one else out there had this problem? an if so how was it repaired/
