I still have the old iron waste pipe that runs from the 2nd floor into the basement of my 1940's home. In the basement the iron pipe connects to a new PVC drain line about 6 feet down the wall. I need to do some work to this wall and would like to cut about 5.5 feet of the iron out and replace with PVC. What is the best way to make a clean cut to this iron pipe? Recip saw with fine-toothed blade? Thanks
