Hello,
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what to do and I hope someone can lend a hand. We put pot lights in our kitchen ceiling, and unfortunately while doing so a small hole was drilled into the subfloor and carpet of my room in the process, since it is right above the kitchen.
Any ideas as to how I can cover this? I saw the idea of patching the carpet and the hole from the underside, but the problem is that it cannot be reached from there because the ceiling of the kitchen has been sealed and completed now and the hole is too small to slip much inside (plus I don't have any leftover carpet). Simply plugging something in doesnt seem to work either, as it will just fall down to the kitchen ceiling (there's about 10-12 inches between the two).
Right now I just have a piece of cardboard over it with some tape. I was hoping for something more permanent and less visible... If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it!
