My lawn was looking amazing and green in early april, I put down pre-m and fertilizer and then towards the end of april, my wife and I had a baby and I didn't have a chance to start the sprinklers. I started the sprinklers in the first week of May but the lawn was already a bit brown. It has gotten worse up until now. I have my sprinklers set to go off in the early morning but I didn't realize 1 zone with 3 heads was clogged and not watering the lawn. I believe that was definitely my issue so I fixed the clog and also put do some jonathan greens magical (lime replacement) and the lawn is "starting" to look a little better. How can I get the perfectly green lawn back the the way it was in early april if it is now semi brown?
I am going to put some more fertilizer down this week, not weed and feed since the lawn has minimal weeds. Is their anything else I can throw at it to make it green again?
