Twinwall Polycarbonate roofing sheets

Hey all,

We are concidering the variouse roofing options, and we are currently concidering the polycarbonate twin wall roofing sheets and i noticed they come in a variety of thickness eg 6mm, 8mm, 10mm etc

Now the smaller you go obviously the cheaper it becomes, so i want to know if people here have used it and which one i should go for as the price also varies with size, so i want to get the the right one and as i know how strong these sheets are i dont want to pay extra for the 10mm if it wont end up making a diffrence, so i am hoping people here have exprience using them and can shed some light on their performance etc

Also with the the connectors and end caps is there a big diffrence between the polycarbonate ones and the aluminium ones? is there cheaper alternatives in the instalation process, as here in OZ they charge $28AU for a 3m Aluminium H connecter and $22AU for the polycarbonate versions.

Has anyone had exprience with the solid polycarbonate sheets and how they perform over time?

just some information about the structure

Dimentions : 14ft x 28ft aprox, Gable roof 22.5 deg

Wind : 60 knots

Tempature : 41F Low 113F Hi

Thanks
