I have a pretty dumb question. I bought a B&D Corded Matrix Drill and a drill bit set. I dont know how to put a drill bit into it.

I rotated the black part behind to set it on drill icon (I hope its for changing the bit). it has 1 to 10 options, but I guess thats for torque.
The front black and silver part moves together but nothing happens. the front silver part has icons which say lock clockwise and unlock counter clockwise but as I said nothing happens.
