We recently acid stained our outdoor BBQ counter top and we followed all directions to a T. We just can not seem to get this white haze off which i am assuming is residue. When you rub your fingers across it with a white cloth it streaks and some color comes off, not a lot but some. We have honestly washed it off at least 8 times and nothing seems to be coming off. I called the Manufacturer (cohills) and they said keep washing. We have gone through 6 sponges and who knows how many cloths. We want to seal it but dont think we should until all that residue is gone but it just wont come out. Looking for any suggestions. We may end up restaining since so much color has come out since washing. Any ideas?
