Hi, I'm remodeling our guest bath/shower and I just replaced the diverter valve. Went to turn the main water on in the house and the valve is not working - water is coming through the tub faucet and won't turn on or off. Any ideas on possible reasons?
The fixture is 8P8-PHHK by pfister - Pfister Pasadena Single-Handle Tub and Shower Faucet with Handshower in Brushed Nickel-8P8-PHHK - The Home Depot[1]
The valve assembly is Pfister JX8 - Unfinished Tub And Shower Rough Valve - JX8-310A | Pfister Faucets[2]
The cartridge notch is facing down like the instructions says.
