3cm granite on this 48x24 metal table?

Will it hold up on those two thin rods?

I am thinking the granite, which will match dimensions of table at 48x24, at 3cm (opposed to 2cm) will be considerately heavier to be balanced on those two rods that go the length of the table?

The manufacturer has granite top options for this table but at 2cm thickness. I am making my own granite.
