Bathroom wall

Name: image.jpg Views: 3 Size: 11.4 KBHi, we are having problems with our drywall that butts up against the shower stall. Water had leaked out and caused it to crumble and peel. Can I remud the drywall or do I need to replace the piece of drywall?

Eventually I will be tiling that wall so it can be more kid friendly with all the water they track out.

Any advice will be helpful! Sorry I don't know why the pic is sideways!
