I'm about 16 months post service on my neutralizer, and I want to do it myself. Times are tough and I need to save a few bucks, plus learning how to service my own equipment is always a high priority of mine and I don't like to rely on others to do what I can do myself... I've installed a softener, know how to sweat copper, have the tools, and just need some direction.
Is there a manual to cover the procedure?
Where can I buy a bag of calcite?
When the service tech topped of the system last year he added some chlorine pellets. Is this necessary?
