Have model 456 overhead door opener. Helical drive gear was worn. And not working. I fixed it and things worked. For a while. Now moves up and down 1-2 inches. Thought that rpm sensor was problem. Redid install to make sure all seated properly. Looks better now. But still stopping. When disengage the door it moves chain up and down. When connect to door move up and stop. Then when I press it goes down.
Chain is loose. Not sure easy way to tighten since it in plastic case when try to tighten it twist chain.
Starting to lose man points can not get this to work. Please help.
