how to test a single pole switch

My bathroom light went out. No explanation. Bulbs okay. Breaker okay. There is an ALWAYS HOT plug in light fixture and that works.



Fan works fine. Separate switch wired into same box.



Once I pop the cover plate, what can I test before I start unwiring? I suspect it's the switch itself.
