220v-110v Step-Down Transformer Question

Hi. I have a fabric steamer bought from the US that is rated at 1100 watts. It's not dual voltage though, and I want to use it oversees where the electricity is 220 volts.



My question is, how many amps should the transformer be? My high-school Physics tells me if it's 1100 watts at 110 volts, then at 220 volts, it should need 5 amps? Is that correct? And if so, would be a 5 amps step-down transformer suffice?
