My new thermostat needs a 5 conductor, from what i understand, the 5th wire is for the 24v power.
My door chime is above my thermosat and i can see the red and black wire that leads to it. Can i tap into this and provide 24v to my t stat?
is it ok to split the 24v bell chime with thermosat?
