Can I slow down fan motor in 208/240v box garage heater?

I have 2 of them. One is a Marley and the other is a ProForce.



They both are about 14 x 14 inch red box heaters that use a 6-30 plug.



The fan blows too hard and the heat is not very hot. Could I slow down the fan with a dimmer switch of some kind or could I do it some other way?
