So I had a simplicity with a kohler command. I think was a 27hp. That sucked up the throttle plate. Pretty much ruined the engine. I was told was a common problem with that engine. Since then ive acquired a cub cadet with a kohler courage 23 horse. Should I be concerned about this happening to this engine? Should I lock-tight the screws on the throttle plate, and for piece of mind the choke plate?
