Trying to fine tune my Windows 8.1 laptop I learned that optimizing SSD drives is recommended by MS to be turned ON for all drives and optimizing does not degraf SSD drives
Optimizing is accessible by rightclick on the drive letter and select Properties, click on the Tools tab and then click the Optimize button. I did this and although I did not noticed a speed increase, my used space went from 68.2GB down to 39.8GB. That’s a great space saving for me
