Hello to all! Yesterday I had to replace a kitchen faucet with a new one which necessitated a full sink removal to make impossible to reach to pipes accessible.
Everything went ok , then for some unknown reason today when I try to run the hot water from the tap it is like the hot water valve is shut off when I know its not as everything worked fine yesterday after installation.
This seems to be a recurring theme as I remember having this issue before with the old faucet and piping. Seeing as how I installed new faucet I cannot figure out whats the real issue and how if at all it can be fixed!
I am sure the hot and cold valves are fully open under the sink. Before when I had this issue I needed to play with the valves on both pipes to see if there was a balance in the pressure between both which made the flow of hot unrestricted. Does anyone know of this issue and if there is another reason for it as it just started all by itself and ironically it fixed itself eventually with the old tap for no apparent reason. I am completely baffled by this.My common sense tells me that somehow the water pressure in each pipe would have to be balanced in order for the valves on each to allow equally water from either pipe through depending on the selection on the faucet dial.
HELP!! anyone with answers that actually are based on experience??
