A case of the contractor working on own home :(
Rheem Criterion II gas furnace, 1997? or there about. Air conditioning, Programmable thermostat.
Thermostat calls for heat. Draft inducer starts.
Glow rod/igniter glows and ignites 4 burners. Burners shut off within seconds.
Blower continues to run, even with no burners and even though thermostat is then switched to off. (thermostat switched to off because I want to cancel the cycle, knowing the burners are not lit)
Blower will act as though it wants to complete cycle regardless that thermostat is off and there are no burners operating.
Filter is not clogged.
